Seasonal Workers Needed for Street/Park Department

The Street/Park Department is looking for four to six seasonal workers to be placed in Hultsfred and Virserum.

The positions are time-limited for three to six months.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities in the Street/Park Department include the operation and maintenance of streets, roads, parks, plantings, playgrounds, and green areas. This includes working with machines such as tractors and loaders with associated equipment, brush cutters, chainsaws, lawnmowers, and also using modern tools, making the work physically demanding.

The tasks in the Water and Sewage Department are varied. This includes trimming and mowing the green areas around the facilities. External maintenance, such as painting. Internal maintenance, such as cleaning of premises, etc.

Qualifications

• Experience from comparable or similar operations with the machines used is an advantage, as well as knowledge and interest in park and green area maintenance.
• It is desirable if you have education from the upper secondary school's program for construction and civil engineering or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
• A driving license (B) with a manual transmission is required.
• Good computer skills.
• For the position, it is required to be able to write and speak Swedish fluently.
• Training in road safety, BE license, C license, and operator's license for wheel loaders/loaders is desirable.
